経済学

経済学で使われる数学としては, ゲーム理論がまず思い浮かぶ。 そのゲーム理論に代数的トポロジーを使おうとしている試みとして, Basu, Basu, Mj の [BBM14] がある。そこでは intersection theory, Poincaré duality, そして Dold-Thomの定理 が用いられている。

代数的トポロジーとの関連とは言えないが, hyperplane arrangement は, 経済学と関係あるらしい。 Terao の [Ter] では, real central arrangement と経済学における Kenneth Arrow の impossibility theorem との関連について述べられている。

Joswig の [Jos] では, tropical geometry の econometrics への応用が述べられている。 それによると, tropical geometry が使えることを発見したのは Shiozawa [Shi15] のようである。
