Quadratic Algebras

Quadratic algebra とは, polynomial algebra や exterior algebra を含む algebra の class であり, tensor algebra \(T(V)\) を \(R\subset V\otimes V\) で生成された two-sided ideal で割った形になっているものである。

代数的トポロジー ( ホモロジー代数) では, Koszul duality に関する Priddy の仕事 [Pri70] を知っておくべきだろう。

• Koszul duality

Quadratic algebra についてまとめられた本としては, Polishchuk と Positelski のもの [PP05] がある。

普通は \(k\) を体とし \(V\) を \(k\) 上のベクトル空間として定義するが, Silantyev [Sil22] は \(k\) を可換とは限らない可換環上の algebra とし, \(V\) を \(k\)-\(k\)-bimodule の場合を考えている。

Silantyev の論文のタイトルは, “quantum representation theory” であるが, これは Manin [Man87; Man88; Man91] による quadratic algebra を noncommutative vector space とみなす, という視点に基づいている。多項式環と affine space \(\mathbb {A}^{n}\) の対応から, quadratic algebra を多項式環を quadratic algebra として表したときの関係式 \(x\otimes y-y\otimes x=0\) を変形したものとみなそう, というわけである。

Manin は quadratic algebra に対し, いくつかの操作を導入している。
