Jones polynomial

Jones polynomial については, 様々な定義がある。

• Bigelow による Jones polynomial の homology による定義 [Big02]
• Khovanov homology の decategorification としての Jones polynomial
• virtual knot に対する Jones polynomial などの不変量の一般化 [Kau99]
• ある link projection から得られる dessins d’enfant の Bollobas-Riordan-Tutte polynomial [Das+08]

例によって, 物理学的な解釈も考えられている。まず, Jones polynomial については, Witten の [Wit89] がある。

変種としては, colored 版がある。Murakami と Murakami の [MM01] によると, Kashaev [Kas97] の volume conjecture と関係がある。

Jones polynomial の一般化としては, Berest と Samuelson の [BS16] もある。

精密化としては, もちろん Khovanov homology ががあるが, それを更に精密化したものとして, stable homotopy type が考えられている。
